*Second annual "Spoon Fed Walleye" June 10-13, 2010 Sebewaing, Michigan
Saginaw Bay will be home to the first ever Trophy Hunt designed around a presentation. Lance and the Walleye 101 staff, along with Mike Steffes from Warrior Lures will be on hand to provide their expertise with spoon trolling. In the past few years trolling spoons for walleye has become a very successful technique and this trip will cover all aspects of spoon fishing including choosing the proper spoon, methods for spoon depth control and everything else needed to begin mastering this effective technique. For those anglers looking for a more hands-on fishing approach, Mark Van Kampen will be sharing his knowledge of fishing with jigging spoons. The multiple humps, weeds and other structures in the bay hold lots of fish in the 15-20" range this time of year, and a jigging spoon can be just the ticket for tackling aggressive fish with a rod in your hand. Lodging will be at the turn of the century Fish Point Lodge hunting lodge, owned by Lance's good friends Chris and Doug Deming. A unique setting and great fishing will make this a trip to remember. Spots are limited to 30 anglers so reserve early.
