a traditional "charter", a Walleye 101 Educational Fishing Trip with Lance
Valentine is a hands on, high intensity, on the water
learning opportunity. Basically an on the water seminar, Lance will teach
anglers every step of the angling puzzle facing them that day. These trips
are great for the novice who wants to get started the right way or for seasoned
anglers who want an in-depth learning experience on fishing a certain body of
water or a specific presentation.
On a Walleye 101 Educational Fishing Trip you will be involved in all the
action! The trip starts with a quick look at a lake map to determine the
best places, presentations and game plan for the day. Lance will then
share his vast knowledge of using sonar and GPS to locate good fishing spots,
bait and gamefish. Once a good area is located you will be coached through
the proper way to use all the equipment and how to fish the chosen presentation
properly-with all the little secrets the pros know!
Fishing out of a fully equipped tournament quality boat you will not only learn how to use fishing electronics, but will also learn boat control, boat rigging and other basics that create a good foundation for future fishing success
Walleye 101 Educational Fishing Trips are available on the Detroit River, Lake Erie, Houghton Lake, Saginaw Bay and River and Holloway Reservoir. You may also schedule a day on your favorite lake to see how the pros would fish it for the most success.
All lake trips are 7 hours dock to dock and all equipment, tackle and bait is provided. Although up to 4 anglers can be accommodated, 2 or 3 allows Lance more personal attention to the anglers. Trip prices are $350 for 2-3 guests and an additional $50 for a 4th guest.
Detroit River trips run twice daily every day except Sunday. Morning trips are from 7 am- 2:30 pm. If you don't have enough time to spend a full day, perhaps a 3 hour late afternoon on the Detroit River will fit you schedule. There are a limited number of dates and the trips run from 4:00-7:00pm and cost $50 per angler with a $100 minimum. Sunday trips are 12:00 noon until 6:30 pm and cost $350 for 1-4 anglers.
